The most active year in Sip Studios history.
25 events across five creative disciplines. 19 ticketed shows drew over 1,000 attendees. Six free community programs served Jersey City residents at no cost. The grant made it possible to pay artists, support their projects, and operate as a true community incubator — programming decisions based on community value, not short-term revenue.

Overhead stability enabled community programming.
The grant covered a portion of rent, utilities, insurance, and software — fixed costs that exist regardless of what's programmed. By offsetting that baseline, Sip Studios could make programming decisions based on community value rather than short-term revenue pressure.
Jam Junction and Genii Atmos both came to Sip as ideas. The grant gave Sip the runway to say yes before either series could guarantee a break-even night. Both became the year's top-attended programs.
Six programs at zero cost: Live in the Garden, Sip Sandbox, Scribble House JC, open mics, and JCAST programming — none generating ticket revenue, all funded by the operational stability the grant provided.
In effect every single month of the grant period. No audience member was turned away for inability to pay. Many ticketed events offered free or reduced admission for artists.
ADA compliant with quarterly wheelchair lift maintenance. Deafstock partnership continued. Access technology for deaf patrons now in active development as part of the Sip tech build.
It looked like Jersey City.
Multilingual, multigenerational, multigenre, and economically diverse. Journal Square, the Heights, Bergen Lafayette, Greenville, and beyond — with a growing South Asian community through Jam Junction.

Open jam series with 3 free editions — no cover, no tickets, musicians walk in and play. Ticketed editions let community artists perform alongside headlining acts. 128 attendees at the November 2025 free edition. Also featured at Jersey City Jazz Fest.
Free networking, open mics, and jam sessions for emerging creatives. No cost. Participants connect with established artists, producers, and industry professionals informally.
Free collaborative art sessions. Sip provided the space and materials. People made art together at no cost — exactly what the Trust Fund is designed to support.
Opened Sip's doors to the broader Jersey City arts community through collaborative programming and shared creative space with the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour.
Recurring free performance opportunities for emerging artists throughout the year. Stage time with no barrier to entry.
